Room 2 is a Year 5/6 class at Hawea Flat School. Their teacher is Mr Merrall. He has a love for education, sports, cooking and is an all round nice guy.

Parabolic Curve Art.
Room 6 has been working hard at parabolic curve art. Here are a few of the first ones finished.

Korowai Whakapapa
Hi Room 6,
Don't forget to bring in your family photo's and materials that you want to put on your Korowai Whakapapa (cloak that is a family tree). Remember what we talked about. Photos that are of your, Grandparents, Parents, brothers and sisters. We can photocopy these if they are really special ones. Remember also the materials that you want to put on you cloak. Decoration to put on e.g., leaves, flags, photos, pine needles, bark, feathers, shells, flowers, toilet paper, saw dust, petals, flax.
You may start bringing them in and leaving them at school.
We will be working on this next Wednesday.
