Room 2 is a Year 5/6 class at Hawea Flat School. Their teacher is Mr Merrall. He has a love for education, sports, cooking and is an all round nice guy.

New Baby and new house!
A hectic last few weeks with my wife giving birth to James on 21/2/14 and moving into our new house last weekend, I have not had a chance to post on the class blog. Room 2 have been working really hard with Jo McCleary in my absence and are now back into the swing of things with me producing some excellent writing, working hard on maths addition and subtraction strategies along with heaps of times tables and division practice and also lots of discussion around what they are reading. Everyone is working hard and working well together and the term is flying by.
